A look back: Eco-Field Days 2025 on the Canitz water estate

On June 18 and 19, 2025, the Öko-Feldtage (ÖFT) took place for the first time in Saxony – on the land of the Wassergut Canitz GmbH organic farm. The event was once again the central meeting point for organic farmers and farmers who want to convert or are looking for new methods for sustainable agriculture. The ÖFT showed what organic farming can achieve today, where it stands and how it is developing.
Visitors experienced a unique mix of practice and research in plant cultivation and animal husbandry. At the same time, the Öko-Feldtage provided an important platform for presenting innovations and discussing current topics relating to agriculture, politics and the economy.
In 2025, particular attention was paid to the link between organic farming and the protection of drinking water – a key topic at the event location in Canitz.
The eco-field days in three minutes
The Eco-Field Days 2025 at the Canitz water estate in Saxony with a focus on water were once again a great networking and knowledge platform for all farmers, researchers, business and politics, old and young. The video shows the many highlights of the event and the very special atmosphere.
