A look back: Öko-Feldtage 2025 at the Canitz water estate

On 18. and On June 19, 2025, the Öko-Feldtage (ÖFT) took place for the first time in Saxony – on the land of the organic farm Wassergut Canitz GmbH. The event was once again the central meeting point for organic farmers and farmers who want to convert or are looking for new methods for sustainable agriculture. The ÖFT showed what organic farming can achieve today, where it stands and how it is developing.

Visitors experienced a unique mix of practice and research in plant cultivation and animal husbandry. At the same time, the Öko-Feldtage provided an important platform for presenting innovations and discussing current topics relating to agriculture, politics and the economy.

In 2025, particular attention was paid to the link between organic farming and the protection of drinking water – a key topic at the event location in Canitz.
