Who is coming to the Eco-Field Days?
The Öko-Feldtage are a little different from “ordinary” field days – the Öko-Feldtage are THE meeting place for the agriculture and food industry of tomorrow. After locations in Hesse, Baden-Württemberg and Saxony with up to 12,000 visitors each from the organic and conventional sectors, it will take place for the sixth time in 2027 and for the first time in Lower Saxony.
As a trade and meeting platform, the Öko-Feldtage aim to connect people from the agriculture and food industry in order to jointly shape a sustainable, fair and ecological food system. This is the right place for all those who offer ideas and solutions, products and services relating to organic farming: Seeds and seedlings, farm and animal feed, stable construction, analog and digital technology, services, regional value creation and much more. Comparable events currently only exist at regional level.
The main topic at the 2025 Organic Field Days was water protection. At the 2027 Organic Field Days, the focus will be on horticulture and vegetable growing, expanding the range of products and services for livestock farmers and regional processing and marketing, among other things.
When and how can I register as an exhibitor?
Registration as a main exhibitor with its own exhibition space and as a co-exhibitor is possible via an exhibition portal, which will be available in the Exhibition section of this website from around the beginning of March 2026. Organizations that do not yet have a login can register free of charge.
Those interested in exhibiting must submit an application for admission and specify the type and size of stand space they would like to book. Limited exhibition space is available. Co-exhibitors must be notified in advance by the main exhibitors to FiBL Projekte GmbH.
The registration deadline for outdoor areas with demonstration plots for winter and summer crops is 31.05.2026. Areas without demonstration plots, demonstrations and individual demonstration areas for agricultural machinery and presentation areas for livestock-related technology can be booked until 31.12.2026.
Registrations received after these deadlines can only be considered if space is still available.
What are the admission criteria for exhibitors?
All products at the Öko-Feldtage, as far as relevant in terms of content, comply with the EC Organic Basic Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007. Only inputs that are registered in the list of inputs for organic farming in Germany(www.betriebsmittelliste.de) are permitted to be exhibited and advertised at the stands.
Organic seed must be used as seed on demonstration plots (listed in organicXseeds, the national database for organic seed in Germany). Exceptions to this rule must be reported to the organizer and the co-organizer in advance. The co-organizer must apply for an exemption via its inspection body before sowing.
For products and systems that are particularly innovative and/or not yet certified organic, a case-by-case assessment is carried out by FiBL Projekte GmbH
The PR materials for the exhibited goods (operating resources, seeds) may only advertise products approved for organic farming.
Further information and requirements are set out in the conditions of participation.
What can I do if my products are not entered in the Farm Input List or organicXseeds?
You can register or register a product using the relevant forms at www.betriebsmittelliste.de or www.seeds4organic.eu/.
What do I have to consider when registering for a demonstration?
Moderated demonstrations of machines and irrigation systems take place in separate areas provided and prepared by the organizer. In addition to a demonstration, a sufficiently large stand area must be rented in the outdoor area where the machine can be parked outside the demonstration.
Individual demonstration areas are available for techniques that do not take part in the moderated demonstrations.
What do I need to bear in mind when offering food and drink and how can I register as a catering provider?
The sale of food and beverages is only permitted to authorized catering providers. The exhibitor support team and/or the catering service will be happy to answer any questions.
All food and drinks offered, with the exception of water, must come from controlled organic farming. Organic certification must be presented for this. The Organic Out-of-Home Catering Ordinance(AHVV) applies.
The requirements of the Lüneburg district food hygiene authority from the “Requirements for food vending stands/snack stands at club and street festivals”, the Food Hygiene Ordinance, the Beverage Dispensing Systems Ordinance and the Youth Protection Act apply. All catering areas are located in the outdoor area.
Registration as a catering stand operator is possible via the Öko-Feldtage trade fair portal. Catering businesses and caterers indicate how many stand spaces are booked and in what size, whether storage facilities are required and what types of power connections are needed. Catering providers can also offer a catering service for exhibitors in addition to the regular menu for visitors.
By submitting the application for admission, the catering providers agree to the conditions of participation, which become part of the contract with the organizer.
The registration deadline for catering providers is 28.02.2027. Registrations received after this deadline can only be considered if there are still places available.
